Empire Racing Announces Restore-Recover-Renew (R3) Tour to Daytona Dates
(Mooresville, NC) January 30, 2013 Officials from Empire Racing, LLC and Warriors In The Workplace announced the schedule for their joint project, the Restore-Recover- Renew Tour to Daytona this morning. The tour will feature Empire Racing’s driver Sean Corr and the one of a kind ride along truck, making stops at VA Hospitals and military installations as the NY based team makes its way south to Daytona, FL. Unlike the typical ride along vehicle or show truck, Empire Racing’s Ride Along Truck offers a handicap accessible seat. Custom crafted to allow ambulatory and non-ambulatory service members and Veterans an opportunity for a once in a lifetime ride along experience in a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race vehicle.

Feb 11: Ralph Johnson VAMC, Charleston, SC
Feb 12: Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, GA
Feb 13: Malcom Randall VAMC, Gainesville, FL
Feb 14-16: ARCA Racing Series Event, Daytona International
Feb 18: Back to the Roots event, Daytona, FL
Feb 19: Bench Racing event, Ocean Deck, Daytona, FL
Feb 20: Finish A Winner event, Ormond Beach, Daytona, FL
Feb 21-22 NCWTS Event, Daytona International Speedway
Interest in the R3 Tour program has been intense, with military bases and nonprofit organizations expressing interest in coordinating further visits during the 2013 season. Watch for announcements of further stops as they become available.

Warriors In The Workplace’s badge will grace the hood of Empire Racing’s #82 Ford Daytona race entries. The mission of the nonprofit veterans hiring initiative Warriors In The Workplace is to help restore, empower, and renew hope for our U.S. Military Veterans as they look to transition from a military career to a rewarding and sustaining career within the civilian sector, based upon the skills they have learned and perfected throughout their tenure in the military.
