Empire Racing teams up with United Way Military Program

MOORESVILLE, NC (2/2/12) – Empire Racing announced their continuing support of the United Way for the 2012 season. Heading into the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Daytona Lucas Oil 200, they will be running the United Way Military Family Assistance Project Text “SALUTE” to 50555.

The program is aimed to benefit The Family Assistance Project which supports programs that serve returning Military, Reservist and National Guard personnel that were active in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom/New Dawn and their families.

“United Way of L.I. is excited and humbled by Empire Racing’s generous offer to get race fans involved in helping increase our military funds,” said Theresa Regante, President & CEO of United Way L.I.

“This program is something we can all relate to,” said racer Sean Corr. “We look at this program as a way to give back to all the men and women who sacrifice it all for the freedoms we enjoy everyday.” Empire Racing will be donating all race winning from this event to the project.
