POSTED March 26, 2012| EMPIRE RACING LLC Sean Corr and Empire Racing keep busy for charities… (MOORESVILLE, NC – MAR 26, 2012) Empire Racing’s Sean Corr joined team manager John Bellesfield and hauler driver Thomas Daddio in transporting three donated buses to Florida before shipping them to three charities in Latin America. The Trans Group, a bus transportation company owned by Corr’s father John, has donated many vehicles over the years: “Over the past 35 years our family has donated over 250 school vehicles and ambulances throughout the world in areas of need,” supporting communities stricken by disaster and need. Destined for three charities, the buses are being shipped to Houses to Homes-Guatemala, Inc., to Nuestros Pequiños Hermanos orphanage & surgical center in Honduras and to the NOVA Medical Mission of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. “Racers can give back to the community in many ways,” said the younger Corr, “and this is one of our family’s main ways we repay the success we’ve had over the years.” The drive from Hillburn, NY to Fort Lauderdale, FL took nearly three days – starting on March 15th and arriving Saturday the 17th. We have been receiving calls from many charities out west with the violet breakout of weather lately and will be helping them through the summer months. Said Corr.
