POSTED August 12th, 2013| EMPIRE RACING LLC Mitchell Wins Pole and Brings Home a Top 5 at Berlin (MOORESVILLE, NC) August 12, One of the hallmarks of a great racer is to always be looking to improve. While receiving congratulations after a top 10 in Pocono, Mason Mitchell was already looking towards Berlin’s Primera Plastics 200 and a better finish. “I was so ecstatic to get my first ARCA Racing Series Pole at Berlin Raceway. Not only did we get the pole, we set a track record!” said Mitchell. Mason went on to lead 42 of the 200 laps, finishing in 5th place. “I can’t thank Jamie Jones and Empire Racing enough. The Happy Cheeks Ford Fusion was fast”. As Mitchell and the Empire Racing crew loaded up the #82 Happy Cheeks Ford Fusion, Mason was already thinking ahead, “Another solid top 5 finish to build on and go into the dirt race”. Next up for Mason and the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards is the Allen Crowe Memorial 100 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, where the ARCA Racing Series driver will race on dirt for the first time this season. The race will also be televised on the NBC Sports Network at 11 P.M. Eastern on Friday, August 23rd.
