POSTED August 9th, 2013| EMPIRE RACING LLC Mitchell and Jones Head to Berlin Looking to Build on Their Success (MOORESVILLE, NC) August 9, 2013 Mason Mitchell and Crew Chief, Jamie Jones, will return to Berlin Raceway with Empire Racing looking to capitalize on their success together. Last year the duo finished 5th in Berlin and hope to improve at this year’s Primera Plastics 200 on August 10th. Mason’s impressive performance last week at Pocono Raceway, charging to a high of 3rd from a starting position of 26th and finishing 8th, would lead one to believe that superspeedways are his preferred venue. However, Berlin’s 0.4 mile track, with its 13 degree banking, makes Mitchell’s list of favored tracks. “Berlin is one of my favorite tracks. It takes a lot of rhythm and patience to get around the placefast. I finished 5th last year, I’m hoping to better that effort this weekend in the Happy Cheeks Ford Fusion”.
